Description

Brick red deepening to red brown, with darker banding running through the body and small paler patches where the stone changes. Fully opaque with a high even polish. Banding varies between pieces, some near uniform, some with strong dark sweeps.
What a red jasper owl means
Red jasper is the endurance stone. It belongs to the root, to steady effort, and to staying with something over a long stretch rather than starting it with a burst. Older correspondence lists call it the nurturer, which sounds gentler than it is. The sense is of a stone that keeps you standing while you do hard work, not one that softens the work.
