Description
White druzy agate tower, carved and polished into a four sided obelisk with a faceted point. It stands 16cm tall and weighs 373g, which gives it a settled presence on a shelf or altar without needing a stand.
The surface is what makes this piece. Straight white laths cross one another in every direction, like a stack of frost needles, and between them the agate opens into small pockets lined with fine sugary druzy that catches the light when the tower is turned. The white runs from bright opaque through to a softer grey white along the edges of the laths, and the druzy pockets sit deeper and brighter than the polished faces around them.
About this white druzy agate tower

White druzy agate varies from piece to piece in how open the pockets are and how much of the face is druzy against polished lath, so what you can see in the images is what is coming to you.
This one has druzy showing on all four faces, with the largest open pockets on the front and one side. The base is flat and the tower stands square without rocking.
Traditional correspondences
White agate is the agate most often kept for quiet and clarity in traditional practice. Where the coloured agates are worked with for grounding or for warmth, the white is usually reached for when the intention is space, stillness and a clearer head. The druzy adds a second quality, often described as gentle amplification, where the many small crystal points are held to lift and lighten whatever the stone is placed with.
A tower shape is traditionally worked with for direction. It is the form most often chosen as the centre of a crystal grid, or placed at a desk or a doorway where a steady, upward focus is wanted rather than a soft diffuse one. This piece suits a crown or a clarity intention, and it pairs well with clear quartz or selenite.

Caring for white druzy agate
Agate sits between 6.5 and 7 on the Mohs scale, so the polished faces will handle everyday dusting and being picked up without trouble. The druzy pockets are the delicate part. The small crystal points inside them are fine and can chip if the tower is knocked against something hard, so lift it by the body and set it down rather than placing it on its side.
Keep water away from the druzy. Agate itself is not harmed by a rinse, but the open pockets trap water and grit, and once dust is wet inside a pocket it is very difficult to get out again. A soft dry brush, a makeup brush or a photography blower, is the best tool for cleaning the druzy.
Direct sunlight will not fade white agate. A bright windowsill is fine. To cleanse, use sound, breath or moonlight rather than water, and give the piece a moment of attention before it goes back in its place.
