This blue flash moonstone sphere has a soft cream body that warms to pale peach in places, with fine silky lines running all the way through. Turn it slowly in the light and a clear blue flash glides across the surface, then slips away again. It’s one of those pieces you keep picking up.
It measures 70mm across and weighs 474g, so it has a lovely, settled weight in the hand. It comes on our wooden sphere stand.

A little history

Moonstone sits at around 6 on the hardness scale, so it can chip if knocked. Keep it away from harder stones and wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Sound, breath or moonlight are all gentle ways to cleanse it.
