Chevron amethyst forms when white quartz and purple amethyst grow in alternating layers. Cutting through those layers on a curve exposes them as zigzags and feathered veils, so every sphere carries its own pattern. The purple runs from deep plum to pale lavender, and each is a natural stone, so markings vary.
About amethyst
Amethyst is the classic stone of calm, sleep and a quieter mind in traditional correspondence. It is linked with the crown and third eye, with Pisces and Aquarius, and with the waning moon, when many people use it to let go and rest.
A sphere has no point and no edge, so it is often chosen for a calm, rounded feel on a bedside table or altar. Cup it in both hands, feel its weight settle and the cool polish warm under your palms, and take a few slow breaths.
Care
Amethyst can fade in strong sunlight over time, so keep it away from a bright windowsill. Spheres roll, so keep yours on a stand or in a dish. Browse more crystal spheres or the amethyst collection, or read about amethyst on Mindat.
Price is for one sphere, the piece you choose. Correspondences are traditional and offered as part of a practice, not as a substitute for medical or professional advice.
