Description
A blue agate tower, cut and polished into a six sided point. There are two to choose from, a broad 9cm tower and a slim 11cm tower, in shades of deep and soft blue.
Choose your blue agate tower
- A, 9cm, 124g, £36. Deep inky blue with darker veils and a broad, weighty body.
- B, 11cm, 76g, £29. Tall and slim, soft periwinkle blue with darker blue banding.
Every piece is photographed on its own, and the letter in the dropdown matches the photos, so the blue agate tower you see is the one you receive.
What blue agate is
Agate is a banded form of chalcedony, built up in fine layers as silica filled a cavity in the rock. Blue agate shows those bands in shades of blue, from soft periwinkle to deep ink, and each piece carries its own pattern.
Traditional correspondences
Blue agate is traditionally linked with the throat chakra and with calm, gentle communication and steady thinking. It is often kept on a desk or bedside table to bring a quieter, more peaceful feel to a space.
Correspondences are traditional and are offered as part of a practice, not as a substitute for medical or professional advice.
Caring for your blue agate tower
Agate is around 7 on the Mohs scale and hard wearing, but the point can chip if knocked over. Stand it on a flat surface and dust with a soft cloth. To cleanse, use sound, breath or moonlight.
What you receive
One blue agate tower, the piece you choose from the dropdown, wrapped for the post and sent by Royal Mail Tracked.
