Description
These Coconut incense cones have a creamy, sweet scent. They are hand made in India from a traditional paste of herbs, resins and wood, shaped into small cones that release fragrance as they smoulder.
A soft, sunny fragrance that brings a little warmth to grey days.
How to light incense cones
- Place the cone on a heatproof incense holder, a dish of sand or a cauldron burner.
- Hold a flame to the tip until it glows, let it burn for a few seconds, then gently blow out the flame.
- A thin line of smoke means it is burning correctly. Each cone smoulders down on its own.
Cones give a fuller burst of fragrance than incense sticks, so they suit larger rooms or a short ritual where you want the scent quickly.
Safety
Always burn incense on a heatproof surface, in a ventilated room, away from anything that can catch. Never leave burning incense unattended and keep it out of reach of children and pets.
Traditional uses are shared as part of a personal practice and are not a substitute for medical or professional advice.
