Description
Diana goddess tumbler, a 20oz double walled stainless steel skinny tumbler printed all the way round with original Mystic Grove artwork. Her portrait sits on the front, her name and title, Lady of the sacred grove, on the back, and between them the wrap is scattered with oak leaves, torches and deer.
The pattern runs continuously around the tumbler with no hard edge, so it looks good from every side. It keeps a drink hot or cold for longer and travels well, so she can come with you through the day.
Who Diana is
Diana is the Roman goddess of the hunt, the moon and the woodland. Her most famous home was a sacred grove beside Lake Nemi, known as Diana’s mirror.
Each August her worshippers carried torches there, and their light shone on the water like a second moon.
Her symbols on the Diana goddess tumbler
- Oak leaves. The sacred trees of her grove.
- Torches. The lights carried to Nemi at her August festival.
- Deer. The wild creatures she protects.
A Diana goddess tumbler for every day
A tumbler goes where you go, to work, on a walk or onto the altar for a moon water ritual. It is an easy way to keep Diana with you, and a lovely gift for anyone who follows her.
In modern practice she is often paired with moonstone and green aventurine, for the moon and the woodland. She suits anyone who loves the woods and the night sky.
Correspondences are traditional and offered as part of a practice, not as a substitute for medical or professional advice.
