Description
A small cast iron ritual pot shaped like a little kettle, with a lid, a spout, a carry handle and a pentagram cast into the side. It measures 8 x 8 x 10cm and weighs around 900g, so it sits solid and steady on an altar.
The pentagram
The five points of the pentagram are traditionally read as earth, air, fire, water and spirit, held together inside the circle. On a ritual vessel it is a long standing symbol of protection and balance.
Ways to use your ritual pot
- Burn resin incense or loose herbs on a charcoal disc, set on a layer of sand. The lid helps to snuff the embers out afterwards.
- Hold salt, moon water or a spell jar mix on your altar.
- Keep written intentions, petitions or small crystals inside, with the lid closed.
- As a seasonal altar piece for Samhain and the darker half of the year.
Good to know
- Size 8 x 8 x 10cm, weight around 900g. Cast iron with a black finish.
- Cast iron gets very hot when used for burning. Always place it on a heat proof surface, lift it by the handle with care, and never leave it unattended.
- Not for food or drink. Keep dry between uses to prevent rust, and wipe with a little oil if needed.
