Description
Artemis goddess tumbler, a 20oz double walled stainless steel skinny tumbler printed all the way round with original Mystic Grove artwork. Her portrait sits on the front, her name and title, Huntress of the moonlit wild, on the back, and between them the wrap is scattered with bows, white deer and hounds.
The pattern runs continuously around the tumbler with no hard edge, so it looks good from every side. It keeps a drink hot or cold for longer and travels well, so she can come with you through the day.
Who Artemis is
Artemis is the Greek goddess of the wild places, twin sister of Apollo, born on the island of Delos. She roams the forests and mountains with her bow and her hounds, protecting wild creatures, the young and women.
In later times she became a goddess of the moon, and her silver arrows are moonlight.
Her symbols on the Artemis goddess tumbler
- Bows. Her silver bow, the mark of the huntress.
- Deer. Her sacred animal, and the hinds that drew her chariot.
- Hounds. Her hunting companions, loyal and swift.
A Artemis goddess tumbler for every day
A tumbler goes where you go, to work, on a walk or onto the altar for a moon water ritual. It is an easy way to keep Artemis with you, and a lovely gift for anyone who follows her.
In modern practice she is often paired with moonstone and moss agate, for the moon and the wild places. She suits walkers, dog lovers and anyone at home in the woods.
Correspondences are traditional and offered as part of a practice, not as a substitute for medical or professional advice.
