Description
Cailleach goddess tumbler, a 20oz double walled stainless steel skinny tumbler printed all the way round with original Mystic Grove artwork. Her portrait sits on the front, her name and title, Queen of winter, on the back, and between them the wrap is scattered with snowflakes, holly and stags.
The pattern runs continuously around the tumbler with no hard edge, so it looks good from every side. It keeps a drink hot or cold for longer and travels well, so she can come with you through the day.
Who the Cailleach is
The Cailleach is the old woman of winter in Scottish and Irish lore. She shaped the hills and mountains with her hammer, herds the wild deer and brings the frost.
At Imbolc she gathers her firewood, and as spring arrives she turns to stone, waiting for winter to return.
Her symbols on the Cailleach goddess tumbler
- Snowflakes. Her season, when the land rests.
- Holly. The evergreen that stays bright through her dark months.
- Stags. The wild deer she herds and protects.
A Cailleach goddess tumbler for every day
A tumbler goes where you go, to work, on a walk or onto the altar for a moon water ritual. It is an easy way to keep the Cailleach with you, and a lovely gift for anyone who follows her.
In modern practice she is often paired with clear quartz and snowflake obsidian, the stones of winter stillness. She rules the dark half of the year, from Samhain through Yule.
Correspondences are traditional and offered as part of a practice, not as a substitute for medical or professional advice.
