Description
This celestite geode weighs 2.6kg and is the kind of piece that changes a room. The outer shell is pale grey, and it opens into a deep, roughly heart shaped cavity lined with sky blue celestite crystals that glitter when the light moves across them. It sits on a black metal cradle fixed to a clear acrylic base.
Choose your celestite geode
- A, 2.6kg, £140. A deep open cavity of sky blue crystals in a pale grey shell, with its black and clear acrylic stand.
Every geode is photographed on its own, and the letter in the dropdown matches the photos, so the celestite geode you see is the one you receive.
What celestite is
Celestite takes its name from the Latin for heavenly, after its soft sky colour. Mineral collectors know it as celestine.
Celestite meaning and traditional correspondences
In traditional practice celestite is one of the calmest stones you can keep. It sits with the throat and crown chakras and is kept for peace, gentle communication and angelic connection. Many people place it in a bedroom or meditation space, and it is often paired with Gemini.
Correspondences are traditional and are offered as part of a practice, not as a substitute for medical or professional advice.
Caring for your celestite geode
Celestite is soft, around 3 to 3.5 on the Mohs scale, and the crystals can mark or loosen if knocked. Keep it out of direct sun, as the blue can fade, and never wash it in water.
Lift it from the shell and the stand, not the crystals, and dust with a soft brush. Cleanse with sound or breath.
What you receive
