Description
Cerridwen goddess tumbler, a 20oz double walled stainless steel skinny tumbler printed all the way round with original Mystic Grove artwork. Her portrait sits on the front, her name and title, Keeper of the cauldron, on the back, and between them the wrap is scattered with cauldrons, hares and herbs.
The pattern runs continuously around the tumbler with no hard edge, so it looks good from every side. It keeps a drink hot or cold for longer and travels well, so she can come with you through the day.
Who Cerridwen is
Cerridwen brewed a potion of wisdom in her great cauldron for a year and a day. Three drops splashed onto the hand of the boy Gwion, who gained all its knowledge.
She chased him as he became a hare, a fish, a bird and a grain of wheat, and from that chase the poet Taliesin was born.
Her symbols on the Cerridwen goddess tumbler
- Cauldrons. Wisdom, change and rebirth, all brewed together.
- Hares. The first shape in the chase, and a creature of the moon.
- Herbs. The plants she gathered for her year and a day brew.
A Cerridwen goddess tumbler for every day
A tumbler goes where you go, to work, on a walk or onto the altar for a moon water ritual. It is an easy way to keep Cerridwen with you, and a lovely gift for anyone who follows her.
In modern practice she is often paired with amethyst and smoky quartz, for wisdom and for change. She suits kitchen witches, writers and anyone who loves a cauldron.
Correspondences are traditional and offered as part of a practice, not as a substitute for medical or professional advice.
