What golden healer quartz is

Golden healer is quartz that has been coloured by natural iron, laid down as fine films inside the crystal while it grew. The iron gives the stone its range of colour, from pale butter yellow to deep burnished amber. The rainbows are tiny internal fractures that split the light, and they shift with every turn. Quartz is 7 on the Mohs scale.
