Altar Cloths

An altar cloth marks out sacred space. Laid on a table, a shelf or the floor, it turns an everyday surface into somewhere set apart for ritual, readings and reflection. It also protects your cards and crystals and keeps your space easy to reset.

Altar cloths and tarot cloths

Our fringed esoteric altar cloths come in six designs, including Metatron’s Cube, and make a calm backdrop for a crystal grid or a tarot spread. The pendulum board cloth, with its sun face design, gives a pendulum a clear field for yes, no and more detailed answers.

Using an altar cloth

Choose a design that matches your work, such as sacred geometry for crystal grids. Lay the cloth before you begin, set your ritual bowls, candles and crystals on it, and fold it away afterwards to close the space.

Care

Shake out wax and ash after each use, hand wash gently, and air dry. Many people cleanse their cloth with smoke or sound alongside their divination tools.
