Description
A pendulum board cloth in natural cotton, 30 x 46.5cm with a soft fringed edge, printed in black with a sun face divination chart. Lay it flat on your altar or table, hold your pendulum above the centre, and let the swing settle on an answer.
What is on the pendulum board
- The sun face at the centre, set inside a compass marked north, south, east and west.
- Yes, No, Maybe and Rephrase for simple questions.
- The alphabet and the numbers one to twelve, for spelling out names or finding a number.
- The twelve months of the year, for questions of timing.
- A ring of runes around the outside, with chakra symbols set between the letters.
- Short affirmations around the edge, such as “trust your inner compass” and “love lights your path”.
- A pendulum motif with a pentagram at the top of the cloth.
How to use a pendulum cloth
Smooth the cloth flat with both palms and feel the soft cotton and fringe under your fingers. Hold the pendulum chain between finger and thumb, rest your elbow on the table, and let the pendulum hang still over the sun face. Take a few slow breaths, ask your question clearly, and notice the pull and swing through your fingertips as it moves towards an answer.
Many people first ask the pendulum to show its yes and its no, so they can feel the difference in the movement before starting a reading.
