Description
A clear quartz point, cut and polished into a six sided standing point. There are eleven to choose from, from small pocket points up to a 14cm statement point, so there is one for a crystal grid, a bedside table or the centre of an altar. Each point is photographed on its own, and the letter in the dropdown matches the photo, so the point you see is the point you receive.
Choose your clear quartz point
- A, 8.5cm, 344g, £40. A broad, weighty point with soft milky veils drifting through the body. The chunkiest of the set.
- B, 8.5cm, 235g, £29. Wide at the base with a long sloping face and gentle veils catching the light inside.
- C, 8cm, 142g, £25. Softly misty, with a rainbow that shows in the centre when the light hits it.
- D, 10cm, 178g, £42. The clearest of the tall points, with glassy sides and fine veils floating in the middle.
- E, 10cm, 167g, £42. Slim and bright, water clear at the tip with a soft misty band lower down.
- G1, 14cm, 465g, £45. The tallest and heaviest of the set. A bold standing point with a water clear tip, swirling white veils and misty clouds through the body, and soft golden inclusions gathered at the base.
- F, small, £12. A short, wide point with icy veils running up into the tip.
- G, small, £12. Compact, with a misty base and glittering veils inside.
- H, small, £18. Slim and gently milky all the way through. A lovely size to hold.
- I, small, £10. Clear with fine feathery veils through the centre.
- J, small, £12. Bright and clear through the body with a softer, misty top.
The small points are each under 100g and sit comfortably in the palm. The first photo shows a selection together, so you can compare sizes side by side.
Clear quartz points in crystal practice
Clear quartz is traditionally known as a master stone and is the stone most often used to amplify the energy of other crystals. That is why a clear quartz point so often sits in the centre of a crystal grid, with the tip pointing up to carry the intention outward.
It is linked with the crown chakra, and with clarity, focus and setting intentions. Many people keep a point on the desk while they study, hold one during meditation, or place one on the altar at the new moon when writing intentions for the month ahead.
Correspondences are traditional and are offered as part of a practice, not as a substitute for medical or professional advice.
What clear quartz is
Clear quartz is crystalline silicon dioxide, one of the most common minerals on Earth. The milky veils and wisps inside are natural, formed as the crystal grew, and no two points carry them in quite the same way. Where light catches a fine internal fracture, it can split into a small rainbow.
Caring for your clear quartz point
Quartz is 7 on the Mohs scale, so it is hard wearing, but the tip and edges can still chip if a point is knocked over. Stand it on a flat surface away from the edge of a shelf.
Clear quartz can focus sunlight like a lens, so avoid leaving a point in a sunny window near anything that could scorch. Rinse with water and dry with a soft cloth, or cleanse with sound, breath or moonlight.
