Read: the New Moon in Libra 2026, and our angel numbers guide for what repeating numbers are said to mean.
Sunday 25 October: the clocks go back
At 2am the UK moves from British Summer Time to Greenwich Mean Time. Every moon time from here to March is in GMT, which is why our guides always say which one they mean.
Monday 26 October: the Hunter’s Moon in Taurus
When: exact at 4.12am, so the night to look up is Sunday 25 October, from moonrise around sunset. What it is for: gratitude, release and charging crystals. Read: the Hunter’s Moon 2026, and moon phases explained if you are new to the cycle.
Saturday 31 October: Samhain

Read: Samhain meaning and a home ritual, a gentle protection spell for your home and crystals for protection.
November 2026
Sunday 8 November: Hecate’s dark moon and Remembrance Sunday
What it is: the last dark night of the lunar month, which in ancient Athens belonged to Hecate, goddess of crossroads and keys, when households cleared out the old month and left a small supper at the crossroads. It is also Remembrance Sunday. Read: Hecate: goddess of crossroads, keys and the dark moon, and candle colour meanings for choosing a candle.
Monday 9 November: the New Moon in Scorpio
When: exact at 7.02am; work with it from Monday evening to Wednesday. What it is for: a beginning after an ending, private commitments and honest fresh starts. Read: the New Moon in Scorpio 2026.
Wednesday 11 November: 11.11 and Armistice Day
What it is: the date the First World War ended, at the eleventh hour, kept with two minutes of silence. It is also the most famous mirror date of all, 11.11, which many people now treat as a moment to pause and set an intention. Read: 1111 angel number meaning, 1717 and 777.
Monday 16 November: the Night of Hecate
What it is: a night kept by some people today in Hecate’s honour. Its origin is unclear and it does not appear in the ancient calendar we know of, so we treat it as a modern custom, and a lovely one. Read: our Hecate guide, which includes a gentle practice with a key and a candle.
Tuesday 24 November: the Beaver Moon supermoon in Gemini
When: exact at 2.54pm; watch it rise in the east a little after 4pm. It is one of three supermoons in 2026. What it is for: clearing your head and saying what has gone unsaid. Read: the Beaver Moon 2026.

Saturday 12 December: the 12.12 mirror date
The last mirror date of the year. Our 1212 angel number guide follows in November; for now, our angel numbers guide explains how repeating numbers are read.
Monday 21 December: the Winter Solstice
The longest night of the year, with the solstice itself at 8.50pm. It is the heart of Yule, kept by people of many traditions as the turning point when the days begin to lengthen again. Its full guide follows in November.
Thursday 24 December: the Cold Moon supermoon in Cancer
Exact at 1.28am on Christmas Eve, the last full moon and the last supermoon of 2026.
A Note on Mirror Dates and Portals
You will see 10.10, 11.11 and 12.12 called gateways or portals online. That idea is modern: it grew out of popular numerology and angel number culture over the last few decades, rather than any ancient calendar. What is real is the feeling that a neat, repeating date is a good moment to stop and choose something on purpose. We think that is reason enough to enjoy them, and our guides say plainly which parts are old and which are new.
How to use this page. This page is refreshed every month with the next stretch of dates. Each moon has its own full guide with a ritual and a crystal grid, and every guide is sorted by year in our moon guides, so you will never confuse this year’s dates with last year’s.
