Description
Blodeuwedd goddess tumbler, a 20oz double walled stainless steel skinny tumbler printed all the way round with original Mystic Grove artwork. Her portrait sits on the front, her name and title, Made of flowers, now the owl, on the back, and between them the wrap is scattered with owls, broom and meadowsweet.
The pattern runs continuously around the tumbler with no hard edge, so it looks good from every side. It keeps a drink hot or cold for longer and travels well, so she can come with you through the day.
Who Blodeuwedd is
In the Welsh Mabinogi, Blodeuwedd was made by the magicians Math and Gwydion from the flowers of oak, broom and meadowsweet, as a bride for Lleu. She chose her own love instead, and for that she was turned into an owl.
Her name means flower face.
Her symbols on the Blodeuwedd goddess tumbler
- Owls. Her second form, wise in the dark and free to fly.
- Broom. One of the flowers she was made from, golden and bright.
- Meadowsweet. The creamy summer flower that gave her sweetness.
A Blodeuwedd goddess tumbler for every day
A tumbler goes where you go, to work, on a walk or onto the altar for a moon water ritual. It is an easy way to keep Blodeuwedd with you, and a lovely gift for anyone who follows her.
In modern practice she is often paired with rose quartz and green aventurine, for the heart and for growth. She belongs to early summer, when the broom and meadowsweet are in flower.
Correspondences are traditional and offered as part of a practice, not as a substitute for medical or professional advice.
