Mookaite is a colourful jasper from Western Australia, found around Mooka Creek, which gives the stone its name. These towers run through brick red, warm rust and ochre, with darker veins and small cream and grey patches through the body. Each is a natural stone, so colour and markings vary.
About mookaite
Traditional correspondence links mookaite with grounding, steady energy and a sense of adventure, and with the root and sacral chakras. Its earthy reds suit autumn altars and the turn towards Samhain.
A small tower is easy to hold. Wrap your fingers around it, feel the smooth cool sides and the point against your palm, and take a few slow breaths.
