What howlite is
Howlite is a natural mineral, a calcium borosilicate, named after Henry How, the Canadian chemist who first described it in the 1860s. Its soft white body and web of grey veins make every tower a little different.
Traditional correspondences
Howlite is traditionally known as one of the calmest stones, linked with the crown chakra and with patience, rest and a quieter mind. It is often kept by the bed or held before sleep, and placed on the altar during the waning moon when letting go.
Correspondences are traditional and are offered as part of a practice, not as a substitute for medical or professional advice.
Caring for your howlite tower
Howlite is a softer stone, around 3.5 on the Mohs scale, so it can scratch and mark. Keep your tower away from harder crystals and avoid soaking it. Dust with a soft dry cloth. To cleanse, use sound, breath or moonlight.
What you receive
