Brigid Goddess Tumbler, 20oz Skinny with Straw

Description

Brigid goddess tumbler, a 20oz double walled stainless steel skinny tumbler printed all the way round with original Mystic Grove artwork. Her portrait sits on the front, her name and title, Keeper of the flame, on the back, and between them the wrap is scattered with Brigid’s crosses, candles and snowdrops.

The pattern runs continuously around the tumbler with no hard edge, so it looks good from every side. It keeps a drink hot or cold for longer and travels well, so she can come with you through the day.

Who Brigid is

Brigid is the bright one of Ireland, keeper of the forge, the hearth, poetry and healing. Her feast is Imbolc on 1 February, when the first light of spring returns.

At Kildare a flame was kept burning in her honour for centuries, and it burns there again today.

Her symbols on the Brigid goddess tumbler

• Brigid’s cross. Woven from rushes at Imbolc and hung by the door to bless the home.
• Candles. Her sacred flame of inspiration and warmth.
• Snowdrops. The first flowers of the year, her promise that spring is coming.

A Brigid goddess tumbler for every day

A tumbler goes where you go, to work, on a walk or onto the altar for a moon water ritual. It is an easy way to keep Brigid with you, and a lovely gift for anyone who follows her.

In modern practice she is often paired with carnelian and citrine, the warm stones of the hearth and creative fire. Her feast is Imbolc on 1 February, when the first light of spring returns.

Correspondences are traditional and offered as part of a practice, not as a substitute for medical or professional advice.
