Lemon essential oil has a fresh, clean, bright, and sharply citrusy aroma that is immediately uplifting. The dominant constituent is limonene, typically present at 60 to 70%, alongside a complex array of other monoterpenes including beta-pinene, gamma-terpinene, and sabinene.
