Description
This selenite charging plate is a long flat bar, 20cm by 4cm and around 180g, decorated with the phases of the Moon. It is cut from natural selenite from Morocco, with a soft, silky sheen.
In crystal practice selenite is traditionally used to cleanse and recharge other stones. Simply rest your crystals, jewellery or tarot deck on the plate overnight, or between uses. The bar shape is perfect for laying out a bracelet, a row of tumblestones or a line of crystals for a moon ritual, and the Moon Cycles design makes it a natural companion for full moon and new moon work.
How to use a selenite charging plate
- Place the plate somewhere it will not be knocked, such as an altar, windowsill or bedside table.
- Lay your crystals or jewellery on top and leave them for a few hours or overnight.
- Many people also set their plate out under the full moon.
Caring for selenite
Selenite is very soft and dissolves in water, so keep it dry and dust it with a soft, dry cloth. It can scratch or chip if dropped. Our guides on how to cleanse crystals and what it means when a crystal breaks have more on caring for your stones.
