Labradorite Sphere 53mm | Choose Your Sphere

Description

This labradorite sphere is 53mm across and 222g. In low light it is a dark, smoky grey green. Turn it towards a lamp or window and a flash of blue moves across the surface.

Choose your labradorite sphere

• A, 53mm, 222g, £36. Dark grey green with a strong blue flash across the top, as you can see in the first photograph.

Every sphere is photographed on its own, and the letter in the dropdown matches the photos, so the labradorite sphere you see is the one you receive.

Every sphere comes with one of our standard wooden sphere stands.

What labradorite is

That flash is called labradorescence. It comes from light bouncing between thin layers inside the feldspar, which is why it shifts as you move. The stone is named after Labrador in Canada, where it was described in the 1700s.

Labradorite meaning and traditional correspondences

In traditional practice labradorite is a stone of magic, intuition and change. It sits with the third eye chakra and is kept for protecting your energy and trusting what you sense. It is a favourite for moon work and Samhain, and many people pair it with Scorpio.

Correspondences are traditional and are offered as part of a practice, not as a substitute for medical or professional advice.

Caring for your labradorite sphere

Labradorite sits at 6 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale. Keep it on its stand and away from harder stones. Cleanse with sound, breath or moonlight.

What you receive

One labradorite sphere, the piece you choose from the dropdown, with its wooden stand, carefully wrapped for the post and sent by Royal Mail Tracked.
